Who's Who

NedNed Lunn - Vicar

Ned is our vicar and serves (alongside his wife Sarah) Greenhill, Lowedges and Lower Bradway. Ned is passionate about building and sustaining community and seeing God transform lives with his grace and love. Ned also loves reading, walking, theatre, boardgames and good food. He also writes regular on his website www.nedlunn.com.

Richard Dunigan - Church Warden

Richard is one of our church wardens. This means he is a 'bishop's officer' who helps to ensure that Saint Peter's does what it should - loves God and serves people. He oversees our Operations team which helps us all to be good stewards to the resources we have been given, human, financial and physical.

bethBeth Stout - Church Warden

Beth is the other of our church wardens. She oversees our Serving & Welcome team ensuring we are being salt and light to our neighbourhood. She is the chief executive of an award winning charity, 'Golddigger Trust', that helps young people with their confidence life skills and the ability to make good choices in life. She is a wonderfully creative person, an ace singer, a keeper of chickens, and supremely friendly and welcoming. Beth's married to Dave and mum to Sephie.

David Stout - Assistant Church Warden

Dave is one of our assistant church wardens. He oversees our Discipleship & Community team who encourage and support our learning and community life including our teaching and social events. Dave is also a great baker and loves a good fact! He is married to Beth and is dad to Sephie.

Paul Taylor - Assistant Church Warden

Paul is our other assistant church warden. He oversees our Prayer & Worship team who seek to find ways we can all connect with God in deeper ways and to glorify Him in our lives. Paul loves Manchester United and is passionate about young people. He is married to Becky and is dad to Amelia and Josh.

Joe Corrigan Joe Corrigan - Detached Youthworker

Joe is our Detached Youth Worker and has been since June 2012. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, walking in the park and of course Go Karting.

hannahHannah Corrigan - Children's & Families' Work

Hannah is a full time mum to two wonderful children.  She helps her husband Joe in the youth work, paying particular attention to the children's work in our church. This includes our children's  Sunday activities: 'Sparks' and 'Energy'; as well as our Monday morning toddler group 'Bubbles'. Hannah has been licensed by the Diocese of Sheffield as a children and youth worker.

Margaret Kohler Margaret Kohler - Sacristan & Ministry to older people

Margaret has for the past six years served as the Church Sacristan, which means that she helps out with the practical stuff for the Services. She also leads a team that focuses on older people in our parish, and visits the sick and housebound to give them communion. Margaret likes spending time with family and friends, her kindle and computer, gardening, pressing flowers and making candles. Most of her time is spent working with the excellent team that puts on our Afternoon Teas and Tea Service. She considers it a real joy to minister to older people who can't come to church on Sundays.

Michelle HayesMichelle Hayes - Pastoral Worker

Michelle heads up our Pastoral Team and is licensed by the Diocese of Sheffield as a Pastoral Worker.  Michelle is also the one you’ll be talking to if you want to book the Parish Centre, a role she volunteers in on top of her 'day job'. Michelle is married to Simon (our Reader), has two sons, and likes Doctor Who, rock and heavy metal music.

Joy French - Ordinand in Training

Joy is our 'Ordinand' which is a fancy word for being a trainee Vicar. Alongside training for ministry at St Barnabas College, Joy also leads our Foodcycle project in the local community, and helps out with Children's and youth work at Saint Peters. Joy is married to Clynt, has three brilliant sons and is a published author (you can buy her book, 'Ordinary Mum, Extraordinary Mission' Here!)

We have many people involved in our work here at church, and we always want more people to get involved in our life together. Have a browse around this website, or get in touch for more info.
